The Anatomy of Optimism: Notice how we are mostly legs?  That's because humanity is 90% "going places" and 10% "forgetting why we went there."  We are built for the husstle, even if the hustle is just walking into a room and staring at the ceiling. 

The High-Five of Destiny: In several frames, we see these spindly beings reaching out-shaking hands, holding sticks, or just waving at the void.  It's a reminder that even when we look like a pile of haunted toothpicks, our first instinct is to find someone else and say, "Hey, you're a toothpick too?  Great.  Let's stand near each other."

The "Antennas" of Curiosity: Some of us have little head-wires.  Are they receiving signals from the mothership?  Probably not.  They're more likely just our nerves standing on end because we're worried about a social interaction we had in 2014.  And yet, we keep those sensors up, always scannning for a joke, a snack, or a sunset. 

We spend so much time tryinng to be "monuments"-solid, unshakable, and perfect.  But these images suggest we are actually sketches.  We are works-in-progress with wobbly knees and heads that are slightly too big for our thoughts.  If you feel fragile today, remember that even a stick figure can hold a spear, navigate a forest, and stand tall against a grey sky.  We aren't made of marble; we're made of lines and shadows and a whole lot of "let's see what happens next."  So don't take your "skeleton" too seriously.  You're just a very advanced doodle in a very grand gallery.  Keep wobbling, you magnificient stick-person.  You're doing great.
